Paul Childs
Paul Childs has created workshops that have been taught all over the world. While with the Adizes Institute he created the workshop "Breakthrough to Prime" which incorporated the Adizes methodology with personal transformation. The Business Mastery workshop series have been taught worldwide in London, Mexico, Los Angeles, San Diego and Marbella, Spain. Paul Childs founded his second Investment Bank and Consulting firm, Veritas Partner Group that focuses on Investment Banking, Consulting and Business Workshops for emerging growth companies. Veritas specializes in middle market transactions between $10 and $150 million. Veritas typically represents unique, niche-oriented companies that enjoyed market leadership positions across a wide spectrum of industries.
Prior to Veritas, Paul founded Summit Corporate Partners, a mid-market Investment Bank that focused on clients in the Western United States. Prior to Summit, Paul held increasingly senior management positions in the investment and media communities with top-tier firms, eventually exiting the corporate world to build several successful companies from the ground floor in a cadre of industries. He has provided strategic and investment planning for the film and television, computer, and telecommunications industries.
In the mid-80's Paul was a major shareholder of Century Data Products, a company that was the leading manufacturer and distributor of computer peripherals in southern California. Century was eventually sold, after which he founded The Childs Media Corporation, a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning. His clients have included Digital Equipment and Pacific Bell, to name a few. Recognizing that the middle-market was entirely under-served by experts in mergers and acquisitions, Paul and a partner founded The Woodbridge Group in 1993, an investment banking firm in Connecticut that has specialized in delivering complete investment banking services to smaller clients. Paul expanded the operation in 1997 to the West Coast as Summit Corporate Partners. Paul sold Summit to begin Veritas Partner Group and expand the company worldwide. Paul is a keynote speaker at events and conferences both here and in London. Paul is a native of New York and studied medicine at the University of Connecticut. He is currently completing his Masters in Economics and Management at the London School of Economics.
